The colon, or large intestine, rids the body of food, bacteria and other waste. But some people are looking for ways to "improve" the process. Enter colon hydrotherapy. It's a process by which a large amount of water is flushed through the colon, via a tube that's inserted in the rectum. Proponents of colon hydrotherapy claim it improves your health by removing toxins and say it can lead to clearer skin.
